Free quote, no obligation
Choose the closest match, add a few details about you and the car, and we will come back with a quote and an honest opinion on whether the job is worth doing. If it is not, we will say so.
The make, model and colour of the car, which panel is damaged, and a couple of photos sent to 07939 755264 on WhatsApp. If you know the paint code it helps, but it is not essential. Quotes are free and there is no obligation, so ask even if you are only weighing up whether the job is worth doing.
Two or three pictures in daylight will usually do it: one close up of the damage, one from a couple of metres back to show the whole panel, and one at an angle to show the depth of a dent or the length of a scratch. Avoid direct sunlight and wet paintwork, because both hide damage.
No. Quotes are done from photos and a short chat on WhatsApp, so there is no need to drive over first. Once we have quoted and you are happy, we book the car in at a time that suits you. Repairs are booked in advance because the booth is scheduled and cars are taken in order.
Our workshop is in Bury St Edmunds, just off the A11 and A14, among the trade units rather than on a high street. The full address and postcode are at the bottom of this page. If you cannot spot us, ring 07939 755264 and we will talk you in. Opening hours are by arrangement, so ring or message before you set off.
For the quickest jobs, sometimes. Anything that goes into the spray booth is different: paint has to be sprayed, cured and left alone, and people around fresh paint is how dust gets into a finish. We will tell you when we quote whether you can wait or need to leave the car with us. If getting the car to us is a problem, ask and we will see what we can do.
You pay once the work is finished and you have walked round the car and seen it. Card and bank transfer are both fine. On larger jobs such as a full respray we may ask for a deposit towards materials, agreed at the quote stage. If the repair is going through your insurance, we will explain how payment works when we quote.
