Dents and creases, scuffs and scrapes, cracked bumpers, damaged wings, doors, bonnets and boot lids, rust spots, and panels that need replacing and aligning.

We do not take on heavy structural or chassis work, and we will tell you straight away if a job is beyond what we do. Rust repairs may need welding, and our Welding Work page covers that side.
Paint needs controlled temperature, airflow and moisture to cure properly. Dust and damp in the air spoil a finish as it cures. Our booth allows us to achieve quality results on every panel.

Bodywork and paint need proper light, extraction and a controlled paint environment, and our Bury St Edmunds workshop is set up for exactly that.

The size of the damage, how many panels are affected and whether parts have to come off the car. Send photos on WhatsApp to 07939 755264 for a free, no obligation quote.

Dents are worked back to shape with any filler kept as thin as possible. Cracked bumpers are plastic welded and reinforced from behind, because that is the side taking the flex over every speed bump. Where a panel is too far gone, a replacement is fitted and aligned so the gaps sit even.
The panel is stripped and assessed, because the damage you can see is rarely all of it.
The repair is flatted, primed and painted in the booth, with the colour blended into the panels either side.
Colour is mixed to your paint code and checked on a test card against the panel before it goes anywhere near the car.
We sit just off the A11 and A14, with customers from Mildenhall, Newmarket, Thetford, Brandon, Lakenheath, Stowmarket, Haverhill, Sudbury, Ely and Cambridge. We also take on accident repairs and work for garages, dealers and fleets.
Send photos of the damage on WhatsApp to 07939 755264 and we will come back to you with a free, no obligation quote.
We will say plainly whether the panel is worth repairing or whether replacement is the honest answer.
If the damage came from a collision, our Accident Repairs page explains how we handle the insurance side for you.
Accidents happen and we do not judge, we just fix it. Call or message 07939 755264 and we will tell you what your car needs.

Repair wins more often than people expect, because a refinished panel usually costs less than a painted replacement and keeps the car original. Replacement is the honest answer when the panel is so distorted the shape cannot be recovered, or where a repair would sit over sensors. We will tell you which it is.
It should not be. A repair shaped and skimmed correctly holds the panel's original contour, so the light runs across it without breaking, and even panel gaps are the real tell of a proper job. We check the car in daylight before we hand it back.
Mostly four things: how large the damaged area is, how many panels are involved, whether parts have to come off the car, and what turns up once the panel is stripped back. Tri coat finishes add more. The quote is free and carries no obligation, and if a job is not worth doing we will say so.
Yes, but never by filling over it. Rust spots are cut back to clean metal before priming, and heavier corrosion in sills and arches may need welding, which our Welding Work page covers. Filler over rust always comes back.
If you pay yourself there is no claim on your policy, so your no claims discount and renewal premium are not affected, and many smaller repairs cost less than a typical excess. For larger accident damage a claim can make sense, and we will give you an honest opinion either way.
It happens, particularly with impact damage, because a bumper or wing often hides cracked brackets or corrosion behind it. We stop, photograph what we have found and speak to you before anything else is done. No extra work goes ahead without your agreement.
Larger panel work comes to us from the whole of West Suffolk and over the county lines. That includes deer strike damage from the forest roads around Brandon and Thetford, A14 stone chips and shunts from Stowmarket, and everyday knocks from Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill.
